These terms explain what you get when you join SMF Trading, what we expect from you, and your rights. They match the client agreement you sign when you join. Please read them before you pay, and keep a copy.
SMF Trading (Strong Money Forex) is a trading name of VARDR GROUP LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number [COMPANY NUMBER]), owned by Mr Christopher Martin Ford. Our registered office is 13 Meadow Way, South Cerney, Cirencester, GL7 6HY.
In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean VARDR GROUP LTD trading as SMF Trading. "You" means the person joining or buying from us. "Chris" means Chris Ford, who delivers the 1:1 coaching.
If we need to contact you, we'll use the email address or mobile number you gave us.
We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged on our prices.
SMF Trading provides trading education only. Nothing we publish is financial advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any financial product. Trading foreign exchange and other leveraged products carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for everyone. You could lose more than you invest. Past performance and student results are not a guide to future results, and individual results vary. Never trade with money you can't afford to lose.
We also sell digital courses and webinars (section 13) and offer free resources (section 14). The sales page, order form, agreement form or confirmation email for each product also forms part of your contract. If anything there conflicts with these terms, the specific product details win.
You must be 18 or over to buy from us. Our services are for individuals learning to trade for themselves.
We welcome students in the UK and internationally. All our education is delivered online.
We may decline an application for any reason, for example if we don't think the mentorship is right for you. If we decline after you've paid, we'll refund you in full.
The contract starts when we email you to confirm your order or membership.
The fixed term is 3 months from your start date [CHECK: start date. Is it the date of your first 1:1 call, or the date you pay?]. After that it rolls on monthly (section 11). We take 6 traders per intake.
If your sales page or confirmation email includes it, Chris will review your last 20 trades during your first week. To get it, send us those trades (with screenshots or a trade log) within your first week. The audit is educational feedback on your process, not advice on any trade. It has no cash value and can't be swapped for a refund or discount.
Chris delivers your 1:1 calls personally. SMF coaches support the team calls, the community and some trade reviews. If Chris needs to move a call, he'll give you the same notice he asks of you (section 6).
All calls take place on Zoom. The link arrives after you book.
Your 1:1 calls are recorded and uploaded to your own private folder, so you can watch them back as part of your learning. Recordings are confidential: the Confidentiality Agreement (section 17) means you must not share, publish or re-upload them. Our privacy policy explains how we store them and for how long.
The launch price is only available for a limited number of places. After those places have gone, the price is £2,195 paid in full, or 2 payments of £1,155 (£2,310 in total). The price you pay is the price shown at checkout and confirmed in your agreement and confirmation email. Prices for our other packages are shown at checkout.
Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. Monthly payments are taken by card on the same date each month, in advance.
If you choose Klarna, you are entering a separate agreement with Klarna, on Klarna's own terms. Klarna decides whether to approve you and may run credit checks. Klarna pays us, and you then pay Klarna. Any late fees or other charges from Klarna are between you and Klarna. If you're owed a refund, we'll refund through Klarna and Klarna will adjust what you owe them.
Spreading the cost is still a commitment. Only choose a payment option if the payments sit comfortably in your budget.
Payments are taken on the dates agreed in your agreement or at checkout. For fixed-term packages, you're agreeing to the whole fixed term, so every payment for it remains payable in full, even if you leave early.
The money-back guarantee doesn't apply if your membership is ended for non-payment (section 12).
If you're struggling to pay, please tell us early. We'd much rather agree a plan with you than end your place.
We can change our prices for new customers at any time. This won't affect anything you've already paid for or agreed to, including your fixed term.
For rolling monthly memberships, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email before your price changes. If you don't want to pay the new price, you can give notice to cancel before it starts.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you can cancel within 14 days of joining, without giving a reason. This applies to all our packages.
We'll refund everything you've paid.
Most people want to start straight away. If you ask for the mentorship to start straight away (you'll tick a box at checkout to do this) and then cancel within those 14 days, you'll pay for the sessions and services you've received up to that point. We'll refund the rest.
Once you access the online course content, you lose the right to cancel for that digital content. You'll be asked to confirm this at checkout.
Email [email protected] with a clear statement that you want to cancel. You can use the form below, but you don't have to.
Cancellation form
To VARDR GROUP LTD trading as SMF Trading, 13 Meadow Way, South Cerney, Cirencester, GL7 6HY, [email protected]:
I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract for the following service: ________. Joined on: ________. Name: ________. Address: ________. Date: ________.
To meet the deadline, you just need to send your message before the 14 days end. We'll refund you within 14 days of receiving it, using the payment method you used (or through Klarna).
Email [email protected] from the email address you used on your agreement form. Your notice starts on the day we receive it. We'll confirm we've received it.
We can end a rolling membership by giving you at least 30 days' notice by email. If we do, we'll refund anything you've paid for the period after it ends.
The 121 Team and the Gold Mastery Bootcamp come with a 150-day money-back guarantee. It's a refund policy, not a promise of profit. It's in addition to your legal rights, not instead of them.
If you meet every condition and haven't achieved profitability within 150 days of your start date, you'll get a full refund of the mentorship fees you've paid.
A positive net result after costs across all your valid trades in the 150 days, as shown in your trade journal.
Email [email protected] within 14 days of day 150, attaching your trade journal. Approved refunds are paid within 14 days of approval.
The guarantee covers mentorship fees only. It doesn't cover trading losses or prop firm challenge losses.
These are digital content. You normally have 14 days to cancel. But if you ask for immediate access and confirm that you understand you'll lose your right to cancel once access starts (you'll tick a box at checkout), you lose that right as soon as you access the content. We'll confirm this in your confirmation email.
This means we don't give refunds on digital courses or recorded webinars once you've accessed them.
If you cancel before a live webinar takes place, we'll refund you in full. If you've asked to attend a live webinar within 14 days of booking, your right to cancel ends once the webinar has taken place.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If it's faulty, tell us and we'll fix or replace it. If we can't, you may be entitled to some or all of your money back. Nothing in this section affects those rights.
Course access is for you only and is hosted on our course platform. Unless the product page says otherwise, you keep access for as long as we run the course. We may update or improve course content over time.
Our free resources, such as the dashboard and masterclass, are educational and provided as they are. We may change or withdraw them at any time. Section 2 applies to them in full. When you sign up for a free resource, we'll use your details as set out in our privacy policy.
Our client community runs on Discord. You'll need a Discord account, which is governed by Discord's own terms. To keep it a good place to learn, you must not:
If you break these rules, we may remove posts, give you a warning, or pause or remove your access. For a serious or repeated breach, we may end your membership (section 20).
When you join, you sign our Confidentiality Agreement. This is a summary of it. If there's any difference, the signed agreement applies.
All materials remain the property of VARDR GROUP LTD and Mr Christopher Martin Ford. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own learning. You keep ownership of your own trades, journal and trading plan. We'll only share your results publicly (for example as a testimonial) with your written permission.
Your confidentiality obligations continue after your membership ends.
We can't promise you'll make money, pass a prop firm evaluation or reach any particular result. Trading results depend on many things outside our control, including your decisions, discipline, risk, capital and the markets.
Any student results we show are real, but individual results vary. They are not typical and are not a guarantee of what you'll achieve. The only money-back promise we make is the guarantee in section 12, on the conditions set out there.
We'll provide our services with reasonable care and skill, and as described. If we don't, tell us and we'll put it right. If we can't, you may be entitled to a partial or full refund.
Because we provide education and not advice, and you make all your own trading decisions, we are not responsible for any trading losses, prop firm fees, or other money you lose as a result of trades you choose to place.
If we break these terms or are negligent, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that. We're not responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable. We're not responsible for business losses such as loss of profit, income or business opportunity. Apart from the things listed below, our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you've paid us for the service in question.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our responsibility for:
For more about your legal rights, contact Citizens Advice.
If we ever have to stop providing a service for any reason that isn't your fault, we'll tell you as early as we can and refund anything you've paid for the part you haven't received.
We're not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as serious illness, internet or platform outages (including Zoom, Discord or our course platform) or other emergencies. If this happens, we'll tell you as soon as we can and take steps to keep the impact small, such as rearranging calls. If the delay is likely to be long, you can contact us to end the contract and get a refund for anything you've paid for but not received.
If you're unhappy with anything, please tell us first so we can put it right. Email [email protected] with your name and what's gone wrong. We'll acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days and aim to give you a full reply within 14 days.
If we can't resolve it, you can get free advice from the Citizens Advice consumer helpline on 0808 223 1133, or take the matter to court.
We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law or in our services. The version that applies to your purchase is the one in place when you joined. For rolling memberships, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email of any important change, and you can give notice to cancel before it starts if you don't agree.
